Job Description
Gotipath is Bangladesh’s first cloud computing and CDN company. Our DevOps Engineer is responsible for the development and operation of applications aimed at running at the Kubernetes Cluster or in the High Availability Cluster. As a DevOps Engineer, you will own the design, implementation, and delivery of application infrastructure. Our application stack is PHP, Golang, NodeJS, MySQL, NoSQL, WebSocket etc . You will work closely with our engineering team and engineering leaders to implement and own application performance monitoring and scale our application infrastructure.
Skill Requirements:
» At least 3+ years of experience in production-grade DevOps engineering.
» Design, build and automate new solutions centered around the Kubernetes container orchestration platform and its ecosystem of projects.
» Working experience of different K8s tools like helm, dashboard, kompose, Prometheus, envoy, weave etc.
» Proven work experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Docker compose.
» Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture and microservice deployments.
» Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration with OS and hardware-level optimizations.
» Working knowledge of automation tools (Jenkins/Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt/etc).
» Strong understanding in code repository systems such as Github, Bitbucket, and Git workflows etc.
» Proven experience in a programming and/or scripting language (e.g. python, java, JavaScript, PHP, Golang).
» A strong familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies, chat-ops, etc.
» Proven experience in handling large-scale databases.
» Monitoring in EFK, Kubernetes health and KPIs and maintaining production-grade SLA for standard IT Operation.
» Strong communication skills with different project developers and all users of the k8s cluster.
» Credibility to create the RCA of incident and incident management properly.
» Experience of using Azure and AWS or other public clouds.
» Working knowledge about API Management, API Proxies (kong/gravity, etc.), API Policies and API routing.
» Experience in other ecosystems like leancube, rancher k3 etc.
» Experience of migrating large scale applications from local infra
» Experience in multi-cloud / hybrid cloud.
» Knowledge of Apache Cloudstack, Maven, Zabbix, Nas, Ceph, Gluster, Git, Grafana, Prometheus
» Knowledge of best practices and approaches related to systems engineering and operations, monitoring, storage, backup, security and HA
» Knowledge of networking technology and concepts: VPC, TCP/UDP, SSL, HTTP, NAT
